BILLING INFORMATION

The staff at Internal Medicine Group will make every effort to simplify all billing and insurance claim procedures. We participate in most major insurance plans including Medicare (see Medicare Frequently Asked Questions), Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and many other PPO and POS.

When you register at Internal Medicine Group, you will be asked to provide us with information about your health insurance. In most cases, we will file a claim for your insurance on your behalf and if we are contracted with your plan, we will do the appropriate follow-up on your claim.

We request and appreciate payment at the time of service for the portion of the fee for which you are responsible (Examples: co-pay, deductibles, or the entire fee). Statements are mailed monthly and we accept Visa and Master Card for your convenience.

On subsequent visits to our office, you will be asked to inform the staff of any changes to your address or insurance information. You can also call our billing office with those changes.
