Cathy Duncan joined JPMA in October 1989 and opened the in house lab for Internal Medicine Group while on Berger Road. After working in the lab for Western Baptist Hospital for almost 10 years, Mrs. Duncan joined the JPMA team and has provided tremendous leadership to the ancillary department and continues to direct the lab which is both CLIA and COLA certified and has maintained an outstanding record over the years for quality compliance and testing efficiencies. Mrs. Duncan oversees the Bone Density department and maintains her certification to perform testing as needed. In 2008, Mrs. Duncan assumed responsibility for all credentialing duties of the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Her responsibilities also include oversight of the mailroom and central supply for the association. Mrs. Duncan is a graduate of Murray State University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. |
